Giving of time and treasure.
Growing up in Connecticut, Ann Hradsky often spent summers in Ashtabula with family. Following their retirement in 2005, Ann and her husband David decided to leave the east coast and enjoy their golden years in Ashtabula.
Both David and Ann began volunteering with ARMC Foundation in 2010 helping with events, clerical work, and even putting together face shields during the COVID pandemic. Ann continues to volunteer with ARMC in central registration two days a week.
David and Ann are also generous and consistent donors to ARMC Foundation. Over the years their donations have directly supported caregivers and capital projects.
They are chosen to support the COVID Caregiver Support Fund, the 2021 renovation of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services facility, and the David and Ann Hradsky Wound Healing Center in the patient care tower which opened in June 2024.
Most recently, David and Ann’s generosity allowed ARMC to update the patient waiting area in central registration with new flooring, furniture and artwork. The new space, dedicated to Ann’s mom Marguerite Ellis Speer, provides a comfortable and inviting environment for patients requiring testing or outpatient procedures.
“We believe strongly in supporting ARMC and access to quality care in our community. As a volunteer, a patient, and a spouse, I have seen firsthand the knowledge, expertise, and compassion ARMC caregivers provide to us all,” said Ann.
