Dr. Shin E. Huang Women’s Imaging Center

In 2022, Ashtabula Regional Medical Center opened a state-of-the-art imaging suite dedicated to women’s healthcare, thanks to a generous donation from Dr. Shin E. Huang and his family.  

The Dr. Shin E. Huang Women’s Imaging Center consolidated several of ARMC’s existing imaging services into an area devoted to the unique needs of women. The suite offers mammography, ultrasound, and bone density scans all within a defined space designed for comfort as well as quality healthcare services. The project featured new finishes, fixture upgrades, and new state-of-the-art equipment.  

Dr. Huang, an obstetrician-gynecologist who delivered more than 5,000 babies throughout his career in Ashtabula, joined the ARMC Medical Staff in 1973, providing care for women and families until his retirement in 2014.
